Representing a woman alleging she was sexually assaulted by a prison guard and then denied access to the boot camp early release program because of her medication needs.
Sexual Assault by Cellmate
Representing a woman who was sexually assaulted by her cellmate against the department of corrections officials who failed to protect her despite repeated pleas for help, where the victim had no history of incarceration but was housed with a woman with a long record of violent offenses.
En Banc Win for Victim of Sexual Assault
Argued before the en banc Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of two women who were sexually abused by jail guard; secured appellate win affirming $11.5 million verdict against the guard and the county that operated the jail.
